….but i wanted to play anyway, so here goes a couple of little sayings………I am giving you a break today from my beloved Mary Oliver. And both these little snippets of wisdom are good to live by:
The human race.
We have so much courage, here we are flying
through space
on a molten rock
at 67,000 miles per hour
and
the only thing that keeps us from flying
out of our shoes…..
is a misplaced faith in gravity.
I have NO idea who wrote that or where I found it……I have had it taped to my computer forever. It just always cracks me up. Misplaced faith in gravity?

“One can’t believe impossible things,” said Alice. ‘I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen. “When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes, I’ve believed in as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
from Alice’s Adventures by Lewis Carroll.
