What terrific advice! Especially about bringing boron to the garden. Boron is so important for joint health and other things. But if you don’t eat food from somewhere with boron-rich soil, you may not be getting enough.

Thanks for this very interesting post! I’m trying to get my vegetable garden started and will try to incorporate this idea.

It wasn't that long ago that I read posts condemning our hobby to the compost heap. I even wrote a few of my own, highlighting how people were turning away from gardens and becoming less dependent on the soil.

Well, if these articles (here and here) are anything to go by we should have no fear that gardening will be around for some time yet.

A garden cart is just like a wheel barrel, except it has two wheels approximately 2 and 1/2 feet apart for much greater stability and the wheels are in the back not the front. By placing the wheels at the back there is no more heavy lifting to get the contents out of the garden cart. I will never go back to using a wheel barrel again.
