After the long winter it’s time for the growing season, pruning, giving those house plants a good thorough cleaning, repotting… if necessary and overall getting those plants in shape!

At the holidays lots of people go to parties and give gifts. Maybe you’ve thought of giving a house plant as a gift to someone special. Well… if that’s your plan stop and think a little about the person and the plant.

Does the person use plants of flowers regularly?
Do they currently have house plants?
… and a few more questions to ask.

Also while you’re at the party or throwing a party. Watch out for any house plants being a “collection container” for drinks. Indoor plants don’t do well with alcohol!
