This is the weekly menu starting from Sunday (tomorrow) to Saturday. I do dinner only since breakfasts are simple for me and Mr. Hyper doesn't eat breakfast or lunch. If I have leftovers then I will use up the left overs and skip the next meal on the menu.
Sunday: Turkey bacon, spinach, and egg white frittataMonday: Herbed skinless

The "LOOK".
They stare at you untill they brainwash you.
Then they win and get what they want. A kitty buffet.ya just can't win sometimes. I guess this closes the micro green experiment. Is it a success or a fail?

Freya is one of those cats who makes herself Queen of the castle. She's a very vocal cat and what she wants she better darn get. Apparently what she wanted last night were greens. Micro greens to be exact. I came home to half my micro greens devoured. I don't know HOW she figured out how to get into that spot, I thought it was pretty much safe. My little micro-greens experiment is doing great. They are getting their true leaves and I can see what is what. There are spinach seedlings, kale, chard, beat greens and lettuce so far that I can see. I might start another tray so that when I harvest from one I'll have another to harvest while this one recovers

Now, after the first big frost-----
It's grown a lot since I planted it in the spring.
We will take a look again through the winter and in the spring to see how it is fairing.Link to the original post:http://girlgonegardening.blogspot.com/2007/05/hardiness-expiriement-and-garden-trash.html

With the rest of the week predicting freezing weather and possible snow, I KNEW my time has run out for puttering around in the garden. It was all business this morning for me. I got up first thing and drove around the neighborhood to leaf piles and loading up on them. I didn't have to go far before I hit the mother load of maple leaves. I brought them
