Freya is one of those cats who makes herself Queen of the castle. She's a very vocal cat and what she wants she better darn get. Apparently what she wanted last night were greens. Micro greens to be exact. I came home to half my micro greens devoured. I don't know HOW she figured out how to get into that spot, I thought it was pretty much safe. There are spinach seedlings, kale, chard, beat greens and lettuce so far that I can see. I might start another tray so that when I harvest from one I'll have another to harvest while this one recovers

When I first planted it..... Now, after the first big frost----- It's grown a lot since I planted it in the spring. 54*, 34% humidity, W 15 mph wind, cloudy With the rest of the week predicting freezing weather and possible snow, I KNEW my time has run out for puttering around in the garden. It was all business this morning for me. I got up first thing and drove around the neighborhood to leaf piles and loading up on them. I didn't have to go far before I hit the mother load of maple leaves. I brought them
