I woke up this morning to animal shenanigans. And this time the cat was not involved. The Ball python had escaped and gone roaming round the house sometime during our sleep. I looked all over for him this morning and it was Freya who clued me in to where he had hunkered down for the day. He was curled in a cold corner behind an end table the rat cage sits on. Python is back where he belongs now

So I got another one of those messages in the mail that I had to go pick up packages from the P.O. and what did I find when I brought it home? There was a package for Freya herself! Now unless Freya has figured out how to charge things on credit, I can't figure out who sent her a Christmas gift! It MUST be Santa Claws.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I received a big padded envelope from Pinetree Garden Seeds yesterday in the mail. Inside were the sprouting jar lids so that I can grow some yummy nutritious sprouts in my kitchen inside during the winter since FREYA won't let me eat the lettuce I grew that was intended FOR ME during the winter. I've been drawing flies. Now before I get any "maybe you should shower more often comments", they are not THOSE kind of flies. These are those annoying little flies that flit about the soil of houseplants, so I came up with a possible solution (and an excuse to harbor more plants....) How about a bug eating plant? This one was practically FREE. I didn't know it was on clearance when I picked it
