I'm waiting for the weather to warm up and then I will be going hiking, checking out some fens I have heard of by word of mouth up in the dunes. It's supposed to be above freezing today. I'd like to enjoy that so I'm willing to wait a while.

This morning dirt in the garden had that frost heave thing going on where the dirt is raised in bumps from freezing water in the ground. It's kind of cool looking actually. Most leaves are gone off the trees though the blueberries still cling stubbornly to a few bright
