Since I don't have much in the way of winter interest in my garden yet other then this dwarf arctic blue willow.....
I'm going to stay focused on the inside today. My old gal Sasha is in for surgery today, so while the dog is away, I've been doing a bit of spring cleaning. getting rid of a godawful amount of dog hair from the couches and all that. Just seemed like a good idea to do it now while

Too Many Seedlings! Remember those Rosa seeds I ordered from Angel Grove Tree seed? Well I had no idea every seed would decide to sprout. I have over 80 rose seedlings, and I haven't even begun to

As you can see, our weather is back to normal seasonal winter crud. I was afraid my outside plants would start thinking that it was time to grow which would be disasterous.
Yesterday I took the first step in raising my own meat here at GGG. Mr. Hyper and I drove up into Michigan to rescue a bunny that was heading for freezer camp with

The snow is all gone, the ice is gone, and the air is a reasonable and mild temperature, only to get warmer tomorrow. It drives me nuts. It makes me want to grab the spade and start shoveling and to start weeding and planting and puttering. It's just cruel I tell you. Give me spring fever and then take it away later with more snow and ice.

I wonder if my seeds have arrived at home today......
Waiting is SO hard!
In kitten news, we have decided to call the kid Little Osa-- Osa means "Bear" since she reminds me of a bear cub with her thick luxuriant and very soft fur, her stubbly little legs and her roundness. Osa is settling into her new situation just fine. She watches
