I think it is an Oliver Corn Picker, but I'm not a farmer so I don't know about farm equipment. I found it off trail in the woods round here on my morning walk. Its been here a little while as trees and brier roses have grown up around it.

Which was perfect timing as my big purple one needed a larger pot. Here it is now happily transplanted in the kitchen window with some friends. I am really appreciative of these bloomers this year. These are "Very Berry" wintergreen seeds..... I planted them in a peaty seed starting mix, threw them into a plastic baggie and put them into the fridge with the rose seeds already there. I also planted hosta "New American Hybrids" mix into peat pellets in a cool window sill.
